S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat is the third game in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series of survival horror games. The title has some vast improvements over the previous games making it one of the best instalments yet. As the game links a number of story elements together from the previous games players are recommended to have finished the first two games before adventuring into what Pripyat has to offer.
Call of Pripyat is set directly after the events of the Shadow of Chernobyl (as the second game in the series [Clear Sky] was a prequel) and starts as hundreds of stalkers make the rush towards the centre of the Zone. The government wants in on this potential treasure trove though and launches its own operation known as ”Operation Fairway” which involves scouting the new areas with helicopters.
Call of Pripyat has the shortest campaign, but the longest and most interesting side quests. So yeah, if you wanna finish the game quickly, you can do that, but this game easily offers about 30 hours of gameplay. I currently have 27.5 hours with Call of Pripyat.

- Call of Pripyat takes you once again into the vicinity of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor that exploded in 1986. This so-called 'Zone' is a highly contaminated area cordoned off by the military and now is combed through by the so-called stalkers, modern fortune hunters, in search of unique artifacts.
Unfortunately the operation is a complete failure with all five of the helicopters crashing to the ground. In order to discover the truth the player is sent into the Zone to investigate. Players take on the role of Major Alexander Degtyarev a military officer and once experienced stalker. As you progress you’ll run into some familiar faces and receive an ending based on your actions throughout your journey.
Gameplay is fairly similar to the previous games in the series with players able to explore an open world split into a number of maps that the player can freely move between. Each of these maps features a variety of friendly or aggressive factions which the player can fight in first person shooter gameplay.
Just like the other games your overall characters strength and power is derived from the artefacts that you carry with you and the upgrades you place on your weapons and armour which slowly make you stronger as the game progresses.

The gameplay of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat is definitely the most refined experience yet and with plenty of tiny improvements it’s probably the first game in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series that doesn’t need third party mods for the best experience.

Unfortunately it still doesn´t work. 
But even with QuickTime itself it´s not possible to view the video. QucikTime is already installed (7.7.9, the latest but also last version for PC as far as I know). Hi All,thanks for your help. I don´t know the format exactly, but I´m talking about mov-files from a quite new iPhone X.
- Return to the S.T.A.L.K.E.R universe once more.
- Upgrade your weapons and equipment to survive the harsh Zone environments.
- Plenty of artefacts to find in anomalies.
- Change the ending based on your actions.
- Same great atmosphere.
