However, I've read from a softmod guide that I need some sort of adapter (not including the one that's supposed to connect to the PC) to connect to the 40 pins on the network adapter. Is this adapter appropriate? Is it worth using a 2.5' or should I just buy a new hdd? Also, what else do I need when I have it? I know I need an adapter to connect to my PC like this, and also a ps2 network adapter, but is that it? I am planning to do the method that doesnt require a memory card and only HDD, and what I know it is called freehdboot.
