How to identify Enco bandsaw model
I sold my little harbor freight 4' X 6' bandsaw and got a bigger older Enco at a sale.
The safety sticker says Enco on it, other than that how do I identify the model?
In order to order blades, I assume I can adjust the idler pulley in the middle of its travel, and run a tape measure around. Seems pretty simple to me, am I missing something?

blade length is easy since you have so much adjustment to make up. a tape or measure between the centers of the shafts and add the wheel circumference.

SJ hit it on the blade length.
Enco has many of their manuals online including some discontinued models. If you cannot get the exact model, you may find something close. If you know the size of the saw and some other specs, it should get you close enought to find a comparable model. If that fails, you might try calling their customer service department. Enco' manuals, especiall the older ones, are not the best I have ever seen. The early Enco manuals were not even translated, into English, well.
